Just ordered a burris timberline 3x-9x-32from swfa with bulter creek lens caps - $152 shipped. Good deal, or bad deal? I plan using it on my dpms panther 18" bull barrel at 300yds tops.

It is a good deal and if you got the ballistic plex reticle you will find it is very cool.  Good short lightweight scope for a carbine.
