we have a very bad armadillo problem here in MS.

this is my excuse to get into a night vision setup for the first time.

the scope will be mounted on a Savage 93 17 HMR rifle.  

shots will be at most 100 yds and usually 50 or less.

i have looked around a bit but figured that it would not hurt to post here and get some advice.  would like to stay under $500 if possible.

There is a night vision forum in the Armory FWIW.

I don't own any NV scopes but I have looked through quite a few and if there was ever a poster child for "you get what you pay for" this is it.  I would save up and get a decent NV optic or not get one at all.
