The 3200 Elite is definently the best scope out there under $200 and even better now that it is available MIL/MIL. It tracks great, and has a ton of elevation adjustment. As you said though the glass isn't all that great, but you can only ask so much out of a $200 optic, your just not going to get good features, reliability and glass for that price. The SS10X42 is a little better scope, tracks like a mofo, tough as nails, and has a parralax adjusment too which the bushnell lack's. The glass is a little better but not a whole lot better, you're still going to have some eye fatigue after looking through it for awhile. It's the same story though, you can only ask so much from a $300 scope. If you want a scope with reliability, features, and good glass it's going to cost you. For $800 the SS10X42HD has pretty good glass, for $650 the Elite 4200 3-12X44 has better glass, if you want superb glass and all the features the S&B PMII 10X is the cheapest way to get it at about $1500. For the higher price's your paying your also getting more than just better glass aswell.
