In general, my eyes hate aperture sights, so I keep thinking the diamond-aperture Troy Di-Optic sights might work better for me.

Have any of you tried them? Useful, or just a gimic?

I love mine.  I think the concepet and design are solid and would buy it again if I had to. I havent had it for very long but it seems that target aquisition is a little faster and easier than compared to a round aperture.

Having the horizontal and lower vertical lines to help with sight alignment works for me.  Showed to a few guys at my gun club and they loved it.
