Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOTech 512 changes

I just got a 2nd EOTech 512 and this one has a cut out on the bottom in the front, as if to clear a barrel nut.  Did they change anything other than the dimensions of the new units?

The raised the battery housing to clear handguards.
