I am wanting something around 3-9x42. I am mainly just going to use it for some target shooting and maybe to try and deer hunt. I found this ncstar I really like, but I dont really know if it would really hold up. I also dont really know what rectile to get. Any help would be great.

Save your money. NcStar is airsoft junk

This is something that IMO would be a good starter if you are on a budget, fits your specs also.
