Is there any disadvantage to the Accupoint that I'm missing?  It seems like they are quality scopes and eliminate the need for batteries so what is the down side over say a Leupold?

I use the Tri-power and really like how well the fiber optic system works. I very rarely turn on the battery back up. Nice and bright.

Leupy really doesn't have a scope that compares to the BAC models...IMO

Probably the only downside is Leupy has more options in magnification and reticle configuration.

I really like the Accupoint for low light deer hunting plan on picking up another 3X9 red triangle in the next
week or so....

I've owned the Accupoint 21R and loved it. Even with the triangle, I squeezed 1.25" groups out of my stock BM upper.  The platform makes a lot of sense to me. My only complaint is eye relief--too long for my liking, even with the LaRue SPR-E mount.

The Accupoint is the best kept secret in optics.
