My first build is done minus the optics. I am having a problem on picking the power of the scope. The scope will be a Leupold Mark 4. The powers that I am looking at are the 4.5x14x50,  6.5x20x50 or for 50 bucks more I can get the 8.5x25x50. Which one is enough power for a 69 grain 223 round.
Any help would be great. Here's a pic of my first AR build
Thanx
Jeff

4.5x14 will be more than enough power. What range are you planning on shooting at? Good rule of thumb is 1x for every 100 yards.
