Does anyone have impressions on the eye relief on the Aimpoint 3x mag?

The only one I looked through was a friend's clone.  I want to buy a genuine one, but the eye relief on the clone was bad and I'd like to find out if the genuine one had better/longer eye relief distance.  Thanks.
