Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - how to mount bushnell to A2

i have my colt ar15-a2 (shoulda got an a3, i know) and i just looked at the bushnell acog clone 1x32 and really liked it, the question is how to mount if i buy it? i checked on cheaper than dirt and they have a leupold carry handle mount and the z-mount, will either of these work? any opnions on either of the rails or optic are appreciated.

Mounting on top of the carry handle puts it up pretty high for range shooting with a cheek weld.

A better bet is to use a cantilever mount off the carry handle that will put it in about the same axis as the iron sights.
