Ok, I know this subject has no right or wrong answer, but is more a matter of preference.  I am just curious if most folks prefer the 25m zero method (Battlesight) or some other variant.  I have decided to zero at 50 meters so that my shots will have a little flatter trajectory between 25 and 100 meters.  This is mostly because I do a lot of shooting at the range and can only shoot out to 200 meters.

I thought it would be good to see what others are doing and perhaps "change my ways".

I go for POA=POI at 50 yards and then doublecheck the windage at 100. The elevation will be high at 100 but good for 200 or so.
ETA: the above is for a carbine. On my AR rifles I zero at the bottom(ie. a 6 o'clock hold) on a 6" bull at 100 so the POI is centered on the X.

25M for me. It would be the same thing at work, so why not?

Step 1. Boresight.  Zero rounds downrange.

Step 2. 50 meters.  Until complete.

Step 3. 200 meters.  At least three seven-to-ten-round groups.

Yep. Rough zero at 50 yards, confirm at 200. No holdover/holdunder to get COM hits out to ~220 yards. It just works...

About 10 inches over at 300 is all you need to remember if you use this for Army qual tables.

Mechanical offset of 2.5" at 25 yards on my Commando.  For my A4 once I get it built I will BZO for the 300 aperature at 36 yards like we did on active duty.
