Can you guys point me to a website that sells the ACOG TA31RCO-M4CP, that has a good reputation and decent pricing.

Thanks!

Larue for the optic+mount combo deal.

LaRue

ETA: oops. They don't stock the TA31RCO-M4CP, but if you give them a call they might be able to hook it up.

Mike at CSGunworks.  Great guy to buy from.  He will give you the best price.

Why should I buy the Larue mount over the Trijicon TA51 mount that comes with the ACOG?

Repeatable zero.

Would you elaborate more please. Will the Trijicon TA51 mount not give a repeatable zero? How does the Larue mount do this? Thanks for the help.

Throw levers. Trijicon Mounts use nuts for mounting, and varying torque on the nuts will throw your POI around. Larue uses throw levers that mount consistently every time, which will not ruin your zero. Chances are that you will remove the ACOG from time to time, and the larue mounts make this a hassle-free thing.

ETA: +1 on the TA31f unless you plan on shooting moving targets.

+1 for Larue.  You will eventually get the Larue mount anyway, so you might as well get them together.  BTW: you are a lucky man!
