Hey Folks:

I just put an Ampoint CompM4 on my XCR and I'm looking to add the 3x magnifier. Do you suggest the Samson or Aimpoint mounts for the magnifier. I know that the Aimpoint version comes off fast, but I was not sure how quickly the Samson version can be removed.

Go LaRue LT649/Aimpoint 3x Combo and never look back. If you buy from LaRue the magnifier works out to cost less than $400. Not only is the mount quick detachable, but it also pivots!

If you want an opinion on Samson or Aimpoint, i have used both and Samson is the way to go.

I have an AP twist mount sitting here collecting dust.. if you are going that way.. give me a shout.  we can work some thing out.
