I am debating with a friend of mine the repeatability/Loss of zero of Arms #22 throw lever rings mounted on a M1A with the Arms #22 base.  What kind of loss of zero can I expect with this setup? I feel that any loss of zero is minimal and most likely not enough to really effect the zero of the rifle. What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Eric

A lot of people on this board don't like the ARMS series.  I use a set of 22 rings on my FAL, and have had good repeatiblity with it.

I think you'll be fine.

I use an Aimpoint on an ARMS mount. Because of the case I use I have to dismount the Aimpoint every time I case the rifle. I have never had a problem in the 3 years I have been doing this. Of course it is not a tack driving varmint rig either.
