[ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOTECH won't turn off?.......

Guys, I have an Eotech 511. I thought I had fully turned the unit off, but in complete darkness I can still see a visible ring and dot. Holding down the button has no effect. I have to pop the battery compartment to get it fully off. let me know if I am just an idiot and ths is a common issue that has been discussed here before or?

Hit both buttons to turn it off.
