Hello all,

Does any one know if a the RRA flat top mount (the one with out the integral rings) leaves enough room on the rail for a back up sight?

Thanks,

ben

Depends on where you mount it and what you mount in it.  Most of these are mounted as far forward on the receiver as possible for eye relief, so there's room on the receiver for a BUIS, but if the scope is big at the eyepiece end, not all sights will fit under it.

Here is what I have:

Flattop riser base

I then have a simmons pro diamond 1.5-5x20 shot gun scope mounted with eyepiece pretty far forward on the riser for eye relief. I am positive that a flip up sight would fit under it, I just wanted to know if there is enough rail left over behind the riser (when it's all the way forward) for an arms BUIS.

thanks,

ben
