Today I received the Aimpoint COmp ML3 I had ordered.  I noticed that on the first three positions (on/off switch) the dot is not visible (inside the house with lights on).  The dot barely becomes visible at the fourth position of the switch.

If I turn the lights off (room in darkness) the red dot barely becomes visible on the second postion of the switch.

Is this normal or is the sight defective?

Could they have sent the NVD model?  The body of the sight is marked correctly (Comp ML3).

Any help would be appreciated.

Normal... All the Aimpoints do that in the first 2-3 settings. I have a ML2 that is not NVD capable and it does that.
