hi all,
I'm looking for a nice, inexpensive target scope; ~$400-$500. It will be going on my nice shiny new Stag 1L. My eyesight isn't the best, so I don't think a 3x9 would cut it. I saw a bushnell 4200, a burris something or other, and a Leupold VX-II that looked nice. What do you guys think?

/no ACOGs, aimpoints, or ELCAN's please :)

Check out the Super sniper from swpi. I have a 10x and its buld like a tank. You can pic one up lightly used for less than $300 on the EE.

Can a 10x super sniper focus very well at that range?

They have two types (SS) rear and side focus. I usualy do my zeroing in at 100yards. No prolem. I also have bad eyes. I use a rear focus. You minght want a side foucus.

I decided to go with the Burris Fullfield II 4.5x14 on a Wilson Combat mount. I'll test it out next weekend and let you know how it turns out.
