Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - TA-31F vs. ta-31 RCOM4

Which would be best for a 16" flattop setup.  Does the RCOM4 really have those lateral mil lines running side to side along the bottom of the view?  Are those distracting?   Would the fact that the  RCO is calibrated for the 16" make much real difference vs. the TA-31F?
