your rifle your intended use(s) your needs/wants/preferences Help is usually more readily given when questions aren't quite so open-ended/vague. Just tryin' to help you out. Pertaining to your question, I like the TA31RCO-A4 (4x), but I like it because I have a very specific use for it. You may require something totally different. |

The TA11 (3.5x) is larger, but has a longer eye relief (good thing)
The TA31 and TA01 are both 4x are more compact, by have a shorter / more critical eye relief. I am much faster with the TA11, and don't really notice much of a difference between the 3.5x and the 4x |

Each has an advantage. As mentioned, 3.5x has greater eye relief. This means your head can be a little more mobile behind the optic. This is great when you have to shoot from awkward, non standard positions. The 4x is smaller and lighter and has a noticably greater field of view. The reticle is also slightly larger (because of its slightly greater magnification). Truth is you wont go wrong with either, but, based on whats said above, one may suit some specific needs you have more than the other.

4x32 ACOGs for me
 So spoiled by its clarity and wide FOV, my problem is now that few optics measure up. |
