I was wondering if anyone uses the Docter HUD sights (they look like a baby EOtech).  If so, has seen them with a mount that slants off the side so that one can have a magnified optic as well (so it does not obstruct a regular magnified scope's view).  I know they exist, I just don't know where to find them.  Linkage is below.

Thanks for the pic Zak, that is what I had in mind.  Doe anyone have setup like the pic or use a Docter Optic red dot?  If so, how do you like it?  I have a Samson forend, where can I get an angled picatinny mount/rail for it?

YHM makes them in a variety of lengths.

I buy mine from Calvin - aka 'Brightflashlights" in the Industry section (see button above).

Here on my Steyr STG-58 (FAL), on the side rail of an IOR 3x25 CQB/IL

Only have to tilt the rifle like 10-15 degrees without changing cheek weld

I have run that setup and it is a DrSight.

It does the job for what it's intended to do.

Probably the best use I've seen for those rails.

Thanks for the info guys.  For those of you that use them, how do you like them?  Do they provide a pretty sweet setup in actual use?  Does anyone know of a mount that could mount a Docter red dot to a scope that has only a 30mm tube, such as a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10 x 24?  I think I saw someone that had a setup like the one I just mentioned where it was mounted on top of the scope.  Sorry I have so many pesky questions...
