I have searched but can't seem to find this info.  I see that the Larue mount raises it .275", but I don't know what the original height of the eotech is.

I hope by friday to have an answer for you. I ordered an Eotec552 and the LaRue LT110 mount. This is my first dive with an electronic sight. When the money gets right I plan on night vision that is why I went with this setup. To my understanding the the front sight should be in the 1/3 bottom of the eothingy. I have a folding rear sight that I used for the first time Sunday. I will take pics of the whole rifle set up when the EO& LaR come in.

got that set up on 2 m4s here is what I saw.
without the larue lt 11o the eotech 1min thingy was just barely above the sight post on the M4 FSB,that was zeroed in etc. With the lt110 the eotech 1min thingy looked to be about 3/8-1/2 inch above the post,of course this was a perspective thing. It worked great and I was not @ all distracted by the front sight post when using the eotech. When I added the Larue BUIS it fell right into line with all of the other things and with very little change in check weld the iron sites were available and RIGHT ON. I highly recomend the entire system, eotech,Larue 110 and Larue 101
