Has anyone used a Tasco Super Sniper scope while shooting prarie dogs? Is the Mil Dot TOO big/ does it cover the prarie dog at long ranges?

I'll let you know after June 18th.

What do you consider long ranges, and which scope?  10x,16x, or 20x

10x? 16x? 20x? Will you be using the Mil-Dot to estimate range or as drop compensation?

I use the 16x on groundhog, the longest range I have hit a ground hog at was slightly over 250 yards. For close range varmit work it's fine, however I have a hard time making out little critters past 300.

Targets will be P-dogs , 200-500 yards...  I was thinking 16x but may just go with the 10x...
