Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - need some help with a2

I now have my first real a2 set-up.  But I don't get it.....

The top ring with the range markings spins independently of the bottom ring that actually moves the sights......
I assume there is a way to lock them in after you sight the rifle in...which I have done....but I don't know how????

any info would be appreciated.

Sounds like you might be missing some parts............maybe item (14)  Rear Sight Elevation Index Screw  from this diagram:  www.fulton-armory.com/UpperReceiver.htm
