I have two Bushmaster I bought recently. One is the Varminter with a Leupold 6-18x scope. The 16 inch also has a leupold because I like to shoot with scopes. I have a ruger mini thirty I have had for several years and only fired once. I took the scope off for the 16 inch. Would it be practical to put an aimpoint ot EOTech on the mini thirty? I like it and don't really want to sell it but I could and buy another AR and put something on it.

Put the EoTech on it.  Your shots should land at any given point inside the large ring.

I clicked on the picture and got a link to that rail mount. Not sure how it clamps based on the image on the site. It appears to have 4 screws and 4 holes. Not sure how that works.
