Seriously considering the 20X Super Sniper for my DMPS 308, as I want a min of 16X. However, how does this scope function  on anything inside of 100 yards? Does the adjustable objective clean the immage up enough for closer shots? Or would I be better off dropping the extra $$ and getting something with a variable?

What type of shooting will you be doing?  I can't use anything over about 12x unless I'm using sandbags to keep the weapon still.

i would get the 10x side focus and learn to use the mil

Anything above 10 is impractical for most anything besides benchrests
