Do you have to have a railed forend to accomplish moving it that far forward? In other words, can I do that with a regular forend? |

Not sure what JohnnyP is talking about. But here is a pic of the way I run my EOtech. You have two positions to place the EO. Forward like me or back like the above pic.
It works just fine over a handguard or FF rail.  |
