You can run it like that. The only issue will be eye relief for the 14. If you can get a good enough sight picture with the 14 in the forward position, you should not have to remove the buis. Better option would be to just use a fold down buis. Heres some older pics I took. I now have the EO on the receiver.

You will not have enough room to install everthing unless you get a FF rail. Here is my carbine setup.
