I have an old Meprolight 21 reflex sight and it doesn't have what I see pictures of (some newer sights with apparently twice the fiber-optic cable, and some with an additional fiber optic part in front like trijicon reflex sights)

It washes out easilly aiming from a window into a lighted outdoor environtment and I was wondering if anyone had a cool Modification for these to make them work better, if the factory offered anything, or if anyone knew where I could find a threaded lense polarizer or cap to fit the objective.  (a cap would make this a kind of armson OEG sight which would work in all light conditions.)

I was thinking of maybe injecting clear-drying modeling glue under the fiber optic protector in an effort to increase the working area of the fiber optic element and possibly make this work better too.  That's another crazy idea/possibility.
