Looks like it's just a screw.  I'd rather have the small aperture as the default instead of the low light large aperture.

Yup, just unscrew it and flip it.

When you drive out the pin that holds the adjustment knob on, there is a spring and ball detent under the knob. Careful you don't loose it.
