Anybody making a one-piece scope mount for flat-top ARs?  I am looking for one to mount a Super Sniper brand scope with 30mm tube.

Check out ArmaLite.com.  I have one on my AR.

I have an armalite- but the best out there would be the LaRue

LaRue mounts cost way too much...plus I don't like the QD levers.

The armalite is closer to what I want even though I don't care for the knobs.  Is it aluminum or steel?

pretty sure it's aluminum. Yes the LaRue costs alot, it's just not in my budget yet either (will be later this year) but it is the best, and the best costs. why are you hesitant to get something with knobs or levers? I think you would be happy with either mount, a little blue locktite on the knobs and you're set. Plus it allows you to quickly take off your optic if 1. it breaks 2. you want to do some iron sight practice. The LaRue will also let you have a repeated zero every time, and the armalite can, but witness marks are needed though so you can place the knobs the same evry time.

I used the M.I. mount with my Leupy, which has a 30mm tube.

Try Nightforce. They have one made of steel and titanium. Super light.

Just my personal preference.  I like maintaining smooth lines without knobs and levers sticking out.  This AR will be a dedicated varmit rifle and once set up it stay in that configuration.

Danner130,

Where can I find the M.I. mount?

Thanks,
