(2.) If I go with the ARMS#22 (High) throw lever rings, will I be able to clear the A.R.M.S.#40 (Rear) Flip Up Iron Sight, if I'm using a super sniper scope?

(3.) How is the reliability of the ARMS#22 rings if they are repeatedly taken off and on of the AR15 flatop? Do they re-zero well? Or are they really off and the scope must be re-zeroed most of the time?

The #22H's will work for you. I know for a fact that you will clear the #40. You may run into an issue of eye relief (as you cannout push the scope far enough forward). As far as the ARMS levers repeating zero, I would say that it is hit and miss. Some folks have good luck with them and other break the levers all together.

Another option is to look at the LaRue Tactical SPR mount. It is forward canted, has adjustable throw levers and will clear your ARMS #40 and your FSB.

Do You know for sure that this setup (ARMS22H with Super Sniper scope) will clear the ARMS40 (standard) or the ARMS40L (low profile)? (Sometimes I get the two confused) but I guess there are different height tolerances between the two ARMS40 & the ARMS40L models.

The #22H are the highest they make and the #40 and #40L are two of the absolute lowest BUIS's on the planet. So if you cannot clear those with high rings then you are SOL anyways!

I would recommend the ARMS 40L or the TROY I feel the ARMS 40 with a SS would be pushing it on clearing the scope.

As for clearing the FSP, you needn't give it a thought. Due to focal length, the SS scope will "see" right through the FSP, even if it is mounted directly behind it.

I have the Super Sniper mounted on the #22H rings and the #40L BUIS on a RRA flat top.

The scope does NOT clear the #40L - I thought it would and I was pissed!

I'll have to look at a different setup now....

These apear to be the ARMS22 rings and the ARMS40L ?

Correct on both counts. The rings are #22H (high) rings, to be specific.
