As for clearing the FSP, you needn't give it a thought. Due to focal length, the SS scope will "see" right through the FSP, even if it is mounted directly behind it.

I have the Super Sniper mounted on the #22H rings and the #40L BUIS on a RRA flat top.

The scope does NOT clear the #40L - I thought it would and I was pissed!

I'll have to look at a different setup now....

These apear to be the ARMS22 rings and the ARMS40L ?


Correct on both counts. The rings are #22H (high) rings, to be specific.
