I'm looking to replace my standard fron sight with a YHM front flip up sight and gasblock unit. My questions are:
How hard is it to install and steps involved?
Will it work with a ARMS #40 BUIS?

I will have no problem taking the old front sight off so I am looking for instruction/advice on just installing the YHM sight.

Thanks

The only things I would be careful with or unsure about is getting the screws tightened evenly AND keeping it centered.

It should work fine with the ARMS #40.  You may find you'd like to get a 0.040" taller FS post down the road.  ARMS sights were meant to work with true FN and COLT "F" marked front sight bases.

Don't worry about it now though...

if you can use a hammer, and tighten screws then you can do it .
