I stumbled across this deal the other day from sportsman's guide:

Do you guys think it'd be a quality piece for only $45? would it fit any standard flat-top?

wow. the price lends me to think it's not a USGI carry handle. I don't know if it is worth the risk...

You should be able to get used ones in the EE for around $70 IIRC.

Forge Marks on the right side, just in front of the rear sight assembly.

THIS auction is a good deal and has the forge marks you should look for. At $65 shipped, you can't really go wrong. Forest is a good member as well.

THIS EE thread is for an Armalite and you can definitely tell by the knobs. They aren't standard knobs and a lot of knockoffs copy these as well. This guy isn't selling a knockoff I'm pretty sure.

If your referring to the cheap knock off……steer clear. Search the E n’ E for a REAL CH.

Yeah sorry for the confusion, I'm not doubting him on his handle, I was just asking for more opinions on the sportsman's guide handle.
