I've got an M-4 style ar with a detachable handle. currently im using a scope mounted on the handle, but im looking for advice. i dont like how high the scope is but im not sure what else to do. interested in a scope right on the top rail but dont know how thatd work with the front sight post???? any tips / suggestions would be great.

Whatever scope you have, you are going to need High Scope Rings.  If you can afford it, change your front sight to a Flip-up or if you don't want/need back-ups, then change the front sight to a Picatinny Rail Gas Block.  If you leave the front sight, you might see a little shadow through your scope.
