I need to get an aimpoint mount and need to decide between the cantelever mount and the standard low style mount. Which one ill cowitness in the lower third of the scope?

Right now the Knights cantelever or knights low, using with Troy rear BUIS and F-marked sight base. I just looking for general info.

Yeah i know LT is the cats ass, I really just asking a more general question about mounts though.

Cowitness has nothing to do with whether it's a cantilever or not.

True, but wont most irons be in the lower third of the scope with a cantilever?

depending on the height of the mount/spacer

the low mounts if it even does will probably co-witness in upper third or maybe even fourth.

tall or cantilever mounts are the ones that co-witness and depending on brand,height or spacer is where it will co-witness.

LaRue cantilever will put the irons in the lower 1/3rd. I use the cantilever with a Troy BUIS.
