I'm thinking about picking up an Acucam for my Eotech 552.  I like the repeat zero ability it affords, plus the quick change with other optics feature.  I like that I wouldn't have to worry about the threads loosening on the standard attachment method when firing.  However, it seems a bit pricey for what it actually is.  Also, the overcenter lever seems to stick out a lot and looks like it would snag on ammo pouches or slings.  Is this an accurate assessment?  I would really like to see one in person, but my local gunshops don't carry them.
