two questions...

should the aimpoint be mounted when I zero the buis?  will adding or removing the aimpoint change the zero of the buis?

and does it matter whether you zero the buis or aimpoint first?

If the AImpoint is mounted on the flattop, POI should not shift whether the Aimpointed is mounted or not.

Zero your irons.
Mount Aimpoint.
Looking through peep adjust dot so that it is sitting on top of the front sight post.
Shoot a group using the Aimpoint to verify.
