I went to the gunshow in my area today and bought a Delta style scope mount for a carry handle AR. The scope is an A1Optics...sure not the best but I got a good deal on it. Anyway, I can look though the iron sights and then the scope and its WAY OFF. I also took the upper half off  to kinda bore sight it. After looking through the barrel, I looked through the scope and it needs shimming or something. I counted the clicks from one extreme to the other on the scope and "mechanically zeroed" it by leaving it in the middle. It was 506 clicks total, so I left it at 253rd click. I did this for both elevation and windage. Am I screwed or what? It's a nice 3x9x40 illuminated scope and  it does bring in the light real well. I got this Delta style mount to replace the mount that came with the scope in hopes that the mount was the problem. No dice. Any ideas?
