There is an online AR site here in Houston that called me today and said that they got a new flip mount from Aimpoint for the 3X magnifier. Does anyone have pics of this? I'm not talking about the "twist" version. Anyone have info on this? It's not on aimpoint's site. I want to see this one to decide whether I get that or the Samson one. Thanks.

It's two different ones. The dother thread is about who you guys recommend buying the Samson mount from. This thread is if anyone has pics of the newly release "Aimpoint" brand 3X mount. Not the old twist mount.

Call ahead and make sure botach has the product in stock.

No big deal. Just don't buy out of stock. No different than impact guns. if it's not in stock it will be a while -- up to 6 months.

WHY?

Botach has the notorious reputation of exceedingly long delivery times. They are not the first choice of many folks around here. Besides, there are plenty of fine, reputable dealers that sponsor this site.
