Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question for M1A Scout/optics OWNERS

Just picked up a NIB M1A Scout.  Are there any red dots out there that will allow the cowitness of the iron sights.  If not, which sits the lowest to help with check/stock weld?

I'm not sure there is anything that works the way you're hoping. IIRC there is a notch in the Scout Mount to allow the irons to "see through" it. Nothing could get that low.

My solution was to put a GG&G AccuCam on my EOTech so if it goes bellyup, I can just pop it off.

nice choice BTW. I love the Scout.
