I just got my ARMS #40 today.  Looking at the large aperture, I saw that the hole was drilled slightly off-center.  Eventually I called up ARMS to see if this was a defect, and it turns out it wasn't.  Apparently all the sights are slightly off to account for the fact that when you flip the large aperture for the small aperture, there is slight lateral movement along the threads.

It was news to me (and the guy at Talon Arms who sold it to me!) so I thought I'd share it with everyone.

That's great.  I've always noticed that too!  Whenever I flipped the reticle up or down, I'd get that twist on the windage.  So it looks like it ISN"T just mine... I thought I had a defective one!
