Will the 40A2 fit under the TA31F if it is mounted in a TA51 mount?

No it won't.  Even the #40 with the shaved aperature is an iffy fit.  I had one that wouldn't fit.  Others say just barely.  I ended up getting a #40L.

no it wont.


i had the shaved #40 and it would sit right against the acog when mounted.
