Have anyone had the opportunity to use both of these reticles in Nightforce scopes?  If so, do you have a preference.  I plan on using a 5.5-22x50 Nightforce scope on a bolt action .338 Lapua?

the two from what i have read and seen are both favorites when it comes down to it.

hard toss up so pick which ever fits your needs or whichever you would be able to use easier.


i own the npr2 in 5.5-20x50

WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER DO IN YOUR HEAD ???

1. MLR: YARDS OVER MILS, TIMES 1000

2. NP-R2: INCHES OVER MINUTES, TIMES 100

I VOTE #2. YOU CAN MEASURE ANYTHING IN INCHES EASILY. PLUS, IT'S EASIER TO DIVIDE WHOLE NUMBERS BY WHOLE NUMBERS.

WITH MILS, YOU OFTEN END UP HAVING TO DIVIDE A FRACTION BY A FRACTION.
