Thinking about changing a few AR15s around and in order to confirgure one for 3-gun comps.  Here are the optics that I have available:

TR20R (Accupoint 3-9X40 Red Triangle)
TA11B (Red Triangle inside a circle)

The difference in base magnification is nominal (3x versus 3.5x), but I am curious to know if the variable higher magnification of the Accupoint will be a benefit.

The Accupoint will probably be faster for close range stuff, when the power is turned down, however, it obscures more of long range targets and has basically no BDC points.
