I have read good things about the Predator rail system; however, I haven't been able to find much information about mounting optics (specifically Aimpoint comp).  I was curious if anyone has ventured down this path with any success.

My goal is to co-witness a standard gas block front sight with a rear arms #40 lo pro buis.  I hope to use the Aimpoint 3x in this configuration as well, hence the fold down rear iron.  I know arms mounts are designed to work with their S.I.R.S. system without spacers, but wonder if they would be compatible with the Predator at the same height.

Any insight &/or photos would be greatly appreciated...Thanks, Kid

You shouldn't have any problem doing that.  I have YHM rear sight, EOTech 552, standard POF front sight...  I hope this helps...

the std arms mount for the aimpoint will work or the lower mount that larue offers for the aimpoint will work as well mounted on top of the predator
