Issued, yes, I believe that is it. The 552 would be the AA battery version with NVG capability. You should expect to spend right around $400 for that model.
The 511 is the N model with no NVD ~$320 The 551 is the N model with NVD ~$360 The 512 is the AA model with no NVD ~$360 The 552 is the AA model with NVD ~$400 Revision F is the newest version of each. |

Look for the one with an NSN. If it is issued it should have one.

There are 2 ways that Eotech's make it into the mil system. Ordered thru the supply system by NSN, and thus the NSN models are purchased by DOD, and thru the COTS (Civillian Off The Shelf) program. Many times the scopes that are purchased under COTS are whatever version the local dealer has on hand.

Both the 551 & 552 seem to be in service. It's relatively easy to find photos of both in Iraq/Afghanistan.

+1 and also by half-ass contractors bidding on small unit orders (8a, sba set asides, etc.)- they will offer the cheapest model and then the uninformed procurement staff (civ contractors in many cases these days) will buy them... They're all the same right?
