Sorry if this is a dupe, but my search for 'osprey' didnt turn anything up.

Otay, there is a guy on ebay selling Osprey .223 'bullet drop compensating' scopes.  The only thing I know about Osprey is that they do NVG type gear.  Anyone have any experience with Osprey scopes?  

And, (big question in my head) .223/5.56 are pretty much flat trajectory from 0 - 300 meters, so why would a company make a drop compensating scope for a flat trajectory round???  For +300 M maybe?

Hm, looks like a cheapass Tasco scope, and seeing as how there's a "No Reserve" on it and the starting bid was $.99, I'd be weary.
