My Dad has an old Colt SP1, he wants to use it for predator hunting (coyotes). What are his scope and mounting options? Any help and pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ARMS #2 will allow just about anything to be mounted on top of a carry handle...they will just sit a little high.  You'll probably want the lowest rings you can find.  

ACOGs are always a great choice.

Thanks bjwar, anyone have any pics or links to pics? Curious to see how high the scope would end up. Dad doesn't want to look silly with a 2 foot tall AR.

I have a one piece 30mm to 1 in ring insert on the EE that would be perfect for this rifle. Look up my ad on the search using the author clickie
