Just got a Nikon tactical, and put it on one of my AR's.  I likey.  Will drag the kids (out on break) to the range tomorrow to try it out (not on the kids - I have paper and steel - they just get to watch)  So far, I'm very happy with the new scope.  Has the 'gen-2 type' mildots that they had to discontinue.  Very nice optics (did my evaluation scientifically by looking at trees, animals and houses around my rural neighborhood).  I like the pic below (the evil skull and crossbones - thank you Metallica -  on a black rifle on my wife's nice christmas scene).
